The Osceola-Tug Hill Cross Country Ski Trail are located in the town of Osceola, 27 miles northwest of Rome. The entire system is approximately 20 miles, all of which are groomed. There are trails for everyone from the novice skier to the expert. A trail fee is charged. There are also 1900 acres of state land adjacent to the Ski Center. The trails on state land can be accessed legally by the malloy trail, and have no fee for use. About 25% of the trails are novice, 60% intermediate, and 15% expert.
DIRECTIONS: To get to the Ski Center from the south, take River Road from Camden to Florence, and Florence-Osceola Road from Florence to Osceola In Osceola, take a right onto Osceola-West Leyden Road. The Ski Center will be on your right. From the north, take Co. Rt. 17 south through Redfield and then east onto Osceola Road. At the four corners in Osceola, take a right onto Osceola-West Leyden Road, and the ski center will be on your right.
